GET INVOLVED AND HELP WITH THE ŠKOLÁČIK'S ACTIVITIES

Parents have the opportunity to stay in the school during classes. They can talk to each other over coffee, tea or homemade cake.

The parents of our pupils form a community without which the Školáčik could not function so well. The involvement of parents in Školáčik's activities significantly supports the children's relationship to the Slovak community and thus to Slovak. Without the involvement of parents, our regular events such as the St. Nicholas Besedka, the carnival, the MDD and the multicultural festival could not work. In June, we traditionally go to very popular tents with the whole family.

As volunteers, our parents also help us with accounting (thank you Andrejka), administration and sending of regular information emails and text messages (thank you Helenka) and libary keeping (thank you Paťka).

HOW CAN YOU HELP US?

- working as a teacher's assistant
- assistance with organising our events, baking homemade cakes and other goodies
- donating Slovak children's books, teaching aids or raffle products / services at our events
- sponsorship, more in the Sponsors section
- service in the kitchen during lessons, cleaning after the lessons
- providing compliments to the teachers and organisers to keep them running ;)
- ... being available when help is needed
